The charitable organization «Boumbouras foundation» and construction company «Gefest» presented the second part of the Greek park on the slopes of Primorsky Boulevard. The event was timed to celebrate the City Day on the 2 of September.
Mayor of Odessa Gennady Truhanov, Consul General of Greece in Odessa Alexios Marios Liberopoulos and philanthropist, head of CO «Boumbouras foundation» , President construction company «Gefest» Panteleimon Bumburas were made with a congratulatory remarks.
"Last year's gift to the city was the opening of the first stage of improvement of the Greek park. We have done a lot of work to strengthen the slope, put it in order, and the adornment of the art zone was a unique fountain. Greek Park will be filled with laughter of children from that day. The biggest playground in Odessa is open on the middle terrace", - said Gennady Truhanov.
Consul General of Greece in Odessa Alexios Marios Liberopoulos noted the importance Bumburas family participation in the social life of Odessa. He added that the Greek park - a wonderful gift to the city.
The second part of the park is walking and entertainment. The bulk of its territory is a modern playground in an area of 900 square meters. In addition, experts have established on the territory of modern lighting, installed benches, trash cans, and made laying turf and pavement tiles for walking paths.
